Challenge
Customer plant expansion required a 24” heavy wall steam piping install on the turbine roof while minimizing downtime.
Solution
Monarch put together the scope of work, drawings and schedule to complete the project in the desired timeframe. To achieve maximum efficiency, it was determined the project would be completed in 2 phases. The first phase took place during a plant outage and work was completed around the clock to install isolation valves. Phase 2 took place during plant operation when the majority of support steel and piping was installed.
