Challenge
A power plant had a large boiler shutdown unexpectedly due to multiple internal leaks 140 feet above an accessible working surface. Customer required the unit be repaired as quickly possible.
Solution
Monarch responded immediately. Internal engineering resources and site leads were able to create a safe working surface at a 140ft elevation without utilizing scaffold. This creative solution saved the facility a large amount of time and money. Monarch was able to repair a 20’X40’ section of the boiler without the use of scaffold, tuggers or other conventional lifting methods safely and efficiently. Monarch appreciated the opportunity to assist the customer in returning to regular operations.
